Mac and Cheese

  • 8 oz cooked Elbow Macaroni
  • 2 1/2 cups Cheese (Type of Cheese is dependent on type you like)
  • 3 cups Milk
  • 6 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tbsp Flour
  • 1/2 cup Plain Bread Crumbs
  • 1 tsp Scott's Cajun Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp Scott's Cajun Seasoning

In a pot melt 4 tbsp butter. Add flour and stir constantly for 3-4 minutes to make a blonde roux. Slowly add milk to roux, stirring or whisking to ensure fully mixed. Next, stir in cheese and cook on low heat until cheese is fully melted and blended together, Add 1 tsp of Scott's Cajun Seasoning and stir well. Add macaroni to cheese sauce and mix together. Melt 2 tbsp butter in a separate skillet over medium heat, Add bread crumbs and 1 tbsp Scott's Cajun Seasoning . Cook until lightly browned. Place macaroni in a large baking dish and place bread crumb mixture on top. Place in a 350 degree oven uncovered for 20-30 minutes.
